RIP CURL SURF AND MUSIC FESTIVAL LIGHTS UP KUTA BEACH
Sunday October 26, 2008, Halfway Beach, Kuta, Bali:
It was an action-packed weekend at the Rip Curl Surf and Music Festival that kept participants energized with dynamic levels of competitive surfing and live music. An estimated 6000 spectators found their way to Halfway Beach, kuta to witness the final Indonesian Surfing Championship (ISC) Tour event of the year and to party down with the bands that rocked the beach until late Sunday night.
Rip Curl had promised big but delivered huge at the Rip Curl Surf and Music Fest 2008. Numbers reported 6,000 in attendance and it wasnt a far off call by just looking at the amount of cars and motorbikes backed up along Jalan Pantai Kuta. Fortunately there was not one fight or crowd problem and fine weather the whole day. There was even some crowd surfing!
