how many nights should i stay at Ubud?
March 3, 2010 - Posted in legian bali
I have a total of 5 nights stay in Bali, planning to split it between Ubud and kuta-Legian.
any suggestions on how many nights should i stay at Ubud and what activities would you suggest?
Thanks!
If it’s just 5 nights, so better just 1 night in Ubud.
If you like night life, better try Kuta or Seminyak Area.

Ubud, we usually call " Art City ", you can find a lot of handy crafts and painting there.
Ubud has 2 nice place to eat ( lunch would be better ) :
– Bebek Bengil ( Crispy Fried Duck )
– Babi Guling Bu Oka ( traditional recipi – Pig )
Sounds
good? Then please enter your details into this
form and let's start talking.

well it is depend on whether you are a party person or you’re looking for a secluded area because Ubud is not famous for it’s night life (in fact there’s no night life in Ubud well at least not like in Kuta ^^)
in Ubud you might want to go hunting some paintings or just enjoy the ricefield..my husband and I got back from our honeymoon in Ubud and it was very quiet and private there compared to the big bang in Kuta
oh don’t forget to go to the monkey forest in Ubud..they have the nicest monkeys compared to other monkey forests in Bali.

If it was me I’d base myself in Ubud and maybe spend only one night in Kuta. Kuta is a hole compared to Ubud or Sanur, overpriced and full of Australians. But then again I’ve never liked Kuta and I first went to Bali 20 years ago. If you want to get drunk and hang out with lots of tourists spend all your time at Kuta and only one night at Ubud. If you want the opposite, avoid Kuta stay one night at Sanur (the hotels are nicer) and visit Kuta for an afternoon. Ubud is a nice arty and food sort of place and very relaxing. If it was me I’d base myself there, rent a car and visit the lakes and North Coast on a day trip too.

come to our beautiful city Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia..we will welcome you and treat as our lovely guest, not as indonesian people will treat you there
