What do you think about these villas in Seminyak?
April 1, 2009 - Posted in seminyak bali
So I'm planning to stay in Seminyak, Bali, in late August and I'm trying to decide where to stay:
1. Heliconia Villas
2. Villa Kubu
3. The Amasya Villas
4. The Elysian
I need your opinion which place is the best one (for ONE-BEDROOM villa) in terms of value… obviously the Elysian seem to be the nicest among the other 3, but it's also the most expensive… price difference from Heliconia is about USD$100 per night, but does it really worth it? What is the difference between staying there with the other 3 villas mentioned above… in other words which one has the best location, distance from the beach, distance from the restaurants and shops, pool rating, noise factor, area safety, etc, overall the best value for what I'm spending.
Please feel free to give a detailed answer if you've stayed at any of those villas… also other recommendations are more than welcome. Thank you all sooo much… best answer gets 10 points
TERIMA KASIH!
Thanks Sasha. But I never said these places costs USD$100/ night. I said the PRICE DIFFERENCE from #1 and #4 is USD$100.

The quote for Heliconia is $165 & the Elysian is $265 (that's $100 difference)… that's why I want to know if it's worth it to pay $100 more to stay at Elysian, and why that is (the fact that the place is nicer is not enough to me & I need to find more reasons like I described above)
I have not stayed in any of the villas above but they all look to be of a similar quality.
I usually stay in Villa Seminyak Estate and Spa they have some brand new honeymoon suites which are really nice, although all villas are of good quality. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly but that's to be expected anyway.

If it's value for money you are looking for there are lots of cheaper options but nothing beats a nice quiet private villa with pool if you are looking to relax.
Enjoy Bali anyway….
Sounds
good? Then please enter your details into this
form and let's start talking.

I never heard about those villas – i lived in bali for a year and so many new things there but USD 100/night sounds a normal price of an villa in Seminyak but for one bedroom it seems too much. couse so many nice and more cheaper than that.
for example: Villa Kylie Bali offers 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms, all luxuriously appointed and overlooking the swimming pool. US$ 100/night (internet rate more cheaper)
and also try to have a look villa la villa mathys .
Seminyak is a nice area – not so far from Kuta area. But also quite and not so crowded.
easy way and probably very useful – you can try to find out at this site:

Was a late of the night here when I answered your questions so made a mistake while reading it hehehe..
you don't have to go for the expensive villa in Bali unless you would love to stay there the whole day – or that villa close to the beach
so you will spend most of your time in the villa rather than check out the surrounding.
If only 2 of you – the Heliconia is more worth it – But I heard that Kubu Villa is also a nice one
I will fly to Bali myself in September and prefer stay around Sanur – it's quite far (30mins) from Kuta but more quite beach.
I will stay at Emerald Villa – quite nice one though and reasonalbe price.

the elysian. the area is nice, in bali, just make sure you take bali taxi that runs on meter, otherwise they could milk you for money.
