asia travel question.?

I am planning a trip to Asia next September that will last for six weeks. I wont to go to Vietnam and perhaps Ubud in Indonesia. I want to avoid Malaysia and Thailand because I have been there before. Any other ideas I what else I can add in my itinerary. Thanks.
SINGAPORE, i haven’t been there but they say that you can tour the whole place within a day
MACAU, the first and last European colony in China, its like a little europe with a touch of asia
PHILIPPINES, my hometown
cool dive spots – apo island and malapascua island
white sand beaches – boracay, virgin island, caramoan island
picturesque rice terraces – sagada
treking – mt.apo

Just btwn Malaysia and Thailand is the little itty bitty isle of Singapore.
It’s simple and fun and clean to boot. Enjoy wherever u go in Asia.

I was in Vietnam in June; it was far too hot.
I am going back at xmas next year at the height of the monsoons.
At at least it’ll be cooler.
Hopefully our dollar will have rebounded by then; currently it’sa shocker.
$AUD = $US0.6383.
I can’t help you with suggestions; the only place I wanna go to is Vietnam.

Vietnam has common border with Loas and Cambodia. Try Cambodia.

If you go to Vietnam, I would also recommend visiting Cambodia.
Angkor and Preah Vihear look amazing! I also think the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum would be an excellent place to learn about an issue that still affects Cambodia today:

You can go to Cambodia and visiting the Angkor Wat. Laos is also good and you can go to Vientiane. Both are close to Vietnam and they share the border to Vietnam. If you have the time and money to apply for visa, you can also go to China and visit Yunnan Province, which is just north of Vietnam, which is also great to visit or Guilin in Guangxi Province, which has nice scenery and great food too !!!

But Thailand has the cheapest sea food, when I was there (Navy) a friend and myself filled up an entire table with Lobster, Prawns, Crab, bunch of other things (I was too drunk to remember) for $20! Singapore is nice, but kind of expensive, and remember they still Cain people for doing bad things lol.
