where can find vegetairan food in ubud, bali?

I’m officially a pescatarian when there isn’t a great vegetarian selection – the Balinese don’t do seafood well anyway. I’d rather not eat it. I don’t eat meat of two or four legged origin at all. But I was fine in Bali. Most restaurants seem to have a few vegetarian offerings. I’m not keen on pasta or pizza myself but most places have vegetarian versions of those. And there’s the ubiquitous gado gado or you could request a meatless nasi goreng with extra vegetables.
There’s a lovely place called Casa Luna on Jalan Raya Ubud that did a divine vegetarian nasi campur and a coconut and black rice ice cream. It was simply delicious I could have eaten it every day and I did (three days in a row) – I was just surprised that it hadn’t caught on in other places. It’s on the opposite side of the road, between Puri Lukisan Museum and before the Palace.

There are several vegetarian/vegan/organic places on Jalan Hanuman on the way to the Monkey Forest as we stayed in Artini 2 on the same road but I didn’t take note of their names. You can’t really miss them anyway.
